What? Workshop “Reaching new audiences with creative science communication”

For whom? University students and employees, especially PhDs!The overall goal of the workshop is to stimulate reflection on the reach and diversity of science communication activities, encourage to try innovative and creative approaches and provide some first initial ideas for own science communication activities especially within the context of Pint of Science (https://www.pintofscience.de/).
Philipp Schrögel is a science communication researcher and practitioner. He currently works at Heidelberg university as well as a science communication freelancer. His focus in both areas lies on creative and participatory forms of science communication – ranging from science slams to science comics or science street art. A central question to him is, how public engagement with science can reach people beyond the traditional educated classes.
