On March 07 2024, the Z01 project “Mass Spectrometry Platform for Analysis of Dynamic Protein Machineries” invited SFB members for a workshop on proteomics data analysis.
Pitter Huesgen, who has recently joined the Z01 project as PI, and Friedel Drepper introduced the method of mass-spetrometry based proteomics and especially elucidated the workflow of sample preparation and analyses.
In a hands-on session, data from the SFB 1381 project was analysed using the web-based interactive viewer, which has been developed in project Z01 for the CRC MS platform.
The 34 participants from several different subprojects of the SFB 1381 enjoyed the workshop very much and left the event much more confident in handling their proteomics data.
