Our central project Z03 “Imaging Dynamics of Protein Machineries and Correlation with Cellular Topologies” hosted an imaging workshop for SFB 1381 members on November 26 2024.
In the morning, Thomas Ott (PI of the Z03 project) introduced the central project, before Beatrice Lace and Marta Rodriguez-Franco (both also Z03) talked about FLIM and electron microscopy, respectively. Angela Naumann (LIC) gave a general overview of systems and software packages available at the University of Freiburg and Thorsten Hugel (Faculty of Chemistry) lectured about super-resolution microscopy. In the afternoon, Angela Naumann and Franck Ditengou (IMITATE) gave an introduction into image analysis in a hands-on session.
The participants enjoyed the workshop very much, especially the hands-on session were very well received!
