On July 11 2024, SFB 1381 PhD students Leonie Vollmar and Julia Schimpf successfully defended their doctoral theses at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy (University of Freiburg). Leonies thesis has the title “Directionality and memory in protein dynamics of the Hsp90 machinery by single-molecule FRET” and Julias thesis is entitled “Dynamics of Hsp90:Cdc37:client interactions by multi-colour single-molecule FRET”.
Both students were supervised by Thorsten Hugel in the project B07.
